Do you know that I have this extreme, undying love towards Melbourne? I lived there for 6 years, and one of my biggest dream in life is to move back to Melbourne.
Sigh…. meanwhile, it makes me happy whenever I see Melbourne-related designs. I love these tea towels created by Chickenfoot Designs, a Melbourne-based company, featuring Melbourne’s famous “icons”, such as:
- Meet Me Under The Clocks on Flinders Street Station
This icon is particularly significant to me because… that was my favorite meeting place! Haha. That and the corner on bourke street that used to be Nike shop.
- Pellegrini’s Espresso Bar
I’m pretty sure everyone who has ever lived in Melbourne knows this place. I used to eat there whenever I feel so hungry I could eat a horse, because the portion is BIG. HUGE. I can never seem to finish it. Other than their pasta, Pellegrini’s is very famous for their coffee. This place preserves the way it looks (interior and exterior) since they first opened in 1954.
- Old Green Rattler Tram
I remember how disappointed I was whenever I see this type of tram arriving to my tram stop. It’s the “old” one. I kinda miss it now.
Reminiscing about Melbourne makes me happy, and sad at the same time.
