I was just getting used to writing 2014 instead of 2013, and suddenly it is already the second month of 2014. February, by default, is the month of “love”, thanks to Valentine’s Day. This February I am particularly excited for a trip that I have been waiting for my whole life. I’m finally going to NYC! New York is probably on the top of my travel list. It’s been a dream of mine to go to New York. I can’t wait to finally be in those places I see on TV series and movies. I’ve already started making a list of things I want to do, eat and visit in New York and Washington DC. If you’re a New York or DC local and have some recommendations, please share them in the comments!

By the Way, have you check out my Valentine’s Day products in the shop?

WITH CALENDAR: 1920 x 1080 | 1856 x 1161 | iPad

WITHOUT CALENDAR: 1920×1080 | 1856 x 1161 | iPhone

TIPS for iPhone and iPad users:

Its easier to download them straight to your iPhone / iPad.

1. On your iPhone/iPad, open your browser and go to and find this post.
2. Click on the download link of the wallpaper you wish to download. Once the image is fully downloaded on your browser, tap + hold the image until a menu comes up. Click “Save Image”.
3. Open the “Photos” app and go to “Camera Roll”. Select the Wallpaper that you want to use, click on the bottom left arrow icon and select “Use as Wallpaper”. Your iPhone / iPad will ‘guide’ you through the rest of the steps.

If you have ios 7:
ios7 has the tendency to “zoom” images used for wallpaper. If this happens to your phone, go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > ACCESSIBILITY > REDUCE MOTION and turn ON Reduce Motion (the button thing should turn green). Then follow step number 3 again.

hello – i loved your calendars and thought i would send you some of my (less touristy) favorite places in NY and DC:

NY: the High Line Park, Brooklyn Flea Market (if you’ll be there on a Sunday), Podunk Tea, Laduree Macarons, Artichoke Pizza

DC: Georgetown Cupcake, Little Serow or Thai X-ing for excellent Thai food, late night monument visits, Hirschorn Sculpture Garden

      Hi Vanessa,
      Thank you so much!!
I’ll definitely give most (if not all) of them a try :)
I’ll be in NYC on a Sunday so I will definitely go to Brooklyn Flea Market!

In DC, DEFINITELY go to Eastern Market on a Saturday morning and enjoy the vendors and artisans. The BEST blueberry buckwheat pancakes are at Market Lunch inside the market; but bring cash cause that’s all they accept!
