Ever since I got pregnant, I can’t stop thinking about Chocolates when it comes to meals. If only I’m allowed, I’d have chocolate for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. When I had the chance to attend a Crafternoon event with Ferrero Rocher, I knew I was in for a treat! Chocolate and craft… a combination of two things that excite me the most.
The event was held at this rustic chic Italian restaurant, ACME in Sydney. When I walked in, I knew that Christmas has arrived. The venue was beautifully decorated with black and gold themed decoration with touches of white and green from the floral centrepieces.
I found my name on a place card, written in calligraphy with gold pen. All of the stationery bears Ferrero Rocher logo on them, and I found little Ferrero pralines everywhere around the table. I’m not ashamed to admit that I might have plucked a few from the centrepieces to eat. Yum!
But before we get to lunch, we were escorted downstairs to do some crafting with Natalie Longheon, stylist and creative expert. On our tables, we find our own crafting kits, such as Ferrero Rocher pattern paper, gold and white coloured ribbons, a pair of gold scissors (which I got to take home!) and of course, Ferrero Rocher. On the crafting menu that day, we learned how to make a christmas bon bon. I chose the light brown paper with white ribbon, probably because I’ve seen too much black and gold that day and I’d like my creation to look more subtle. Everyone on the crafting table seems to have lots of fun making their bon bons.
The star product of the day for me has to be the Grand Ferrero Rocher. It is a new product by Ferrero that has just been released for Christmas this year. The Grand Ferrero Rocher is a big version of the iconic chocolatey delights we all know and love. Hiding inside of the grand Ferreros are four classic Ferrero Rocher pralines! Imagine how delighted one would be when they receive this beauty as a gift for the holidays. Or you can simply put them up as decoration. In fact you can view this video below to find out more about how to create a beautiful table centrepiece with the Grand Ferrero Rocher:
This is what I love about Ferrero Rocher, not only are they good to eat, but they make beautiful decorations too! It must be their gold and dark brown wrapping that gives me senses of celebrations and luxury when having them as part of a festive decoration.
If you are feeling crafty, there are lots of other ideas on how you can incorporate Ferrer Rocher into your Christmas table setting and decoration. Check out some of my favourite videos: Rocher Bon Bon, Star Decoration, and this cute tree ornament.
I hope that you feel inspired to start making your #FerreroCraft for Christmas! Use that hashtag when you’ve created yours, and don’t forget to share your ideas and inspiration with us on Social Medias. Have a sweet holiday!
