My number one favourite halloween character will be bats. Maybe I’m much of a fan for the real creatures, but when they’re cute illustrated version such as these ones, I wouldn’t mind having them around my house.
I have been playing with embellishment brads a lot these days, ever since I realise how handy they are to make my characters come a little more alive. Using a few little brads, you can move the wings of your bats and animate them.

Halloween is quite a different vibe here in Australia, because it falls during Spring instead of Autumn. We often incorporate florals in our halloween decorations. You can also see more of that Day of the Dead paper skull decorated by me here.
Wherever you live, I hope that you’re getting into the Halloween spirit, and enjoying the month of October!
